THE LOGO

Andrew designed this logo in conjunction with Elaine Cheong from Salt Design. Andrew owns the copyright to this and all related images. To commission work of your own, please click here to contact Elaine directly.

All artwork has a story and this logo is no exception. Andrew's initials, "AC" are represented in red. The "A" also represents an aortic bifurcation (with the left internal iliac artery also demonstrated) to reflect Andrew's clinical and research expertise in complex aortic surgery. The "C" forms one half of a heart representing the cardiovascular system and is also in the shape of an aortic arch and descending thoracic aorta.

The "A" is further highlighted by a blue accent which represents the iliocaval confluence of the venous system which is of equal importance to the work of a vascular and endovascular surgeon. The importance of the venous system is further emphasised by the heart shape being completed in blue.

Andrew is fiercely proud of his Chinese heritage and the brush strokes of his initials "AC" are a small homage to traditional Chinese calligraphy. Additionally, the "A" has been designed to echo the first character of his surname 鍾.
